Sadiq Malik

Managing Director of Investment Management, DigitalBridge, Co-Head of InfraBridge

Mr. Malik is a seasoned investment professional with over 20 years of in-depth investing experience in private, distressed and public companies across a variety of industries including the digital infrastructure verticals of towers, data centers, fiber and ground lease buyouts. At DigitalBridge, Mr. Malik is responsible for identifying, evaluating, consummating, and managing investments across all our verticals globally with a specific focus on the Americas and the MEA regions.

Previously, Mr. Malik was a co-founding partner of Oskie Capital, a public and private equity firm, which invested in companies undergoing positive business transformations and corporate change. Previously, he also worked on President Obama’s Auto Task Force at the U.S. Department of the Treasury during the financial crisis in 2009.

Earlier in his career Mr. Malik was an investment professional at Och-Ziff Capital, The Blackstone Group and Morgan Stanley. Mr. Malik received a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in Economics from Dartmouth College and an MBA, with distinction, from Harvard Business School.

Alastair Small

Principal, InfraBridge

Alastair Small is a Principal at InfraBridge, a division of DigitalBridge acquired from AMP Capital. Alastair joined AMP Capital in 2016 and has extensive experience across the diversified infrastructure space including digital, energy transition and healthcare services. He was involved in the acquisitions of Axion, Valley Healthcare, Regard & CMG (now Achieve Together), VX Fiber and led the sales of Adven and Speed Fibre Group. In addition to leading on transaction origination and execution, he is actively involved in the day-to-day asset management of Expedient, Achieve Together and InfraBridge’s JV with Invenergy. He started his career at KPMG’s Corporate Finance team in London before being seconded to Tokyo. Alastair holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Nottingham and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Shawn McGorry

Chairman

Shawn McGorry serves as the Chairman of Expedient with more than 40 years of experience in the telecommunications and information technology industries. Prior to taking on the role of Chairman, Shawn served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the company and successfully transitioned Expedient from a boutique, local Internet Service Provider (ISP) with one colocation facility, to a nationwide managed cloud service provider with 15 data centers in 10 different cities.

He orchestrated the sale of Expedient to Landmark Media Enterprises in 2005, which provided capital support to deliver exponential business growth and market expansion during a 14-year run. In 2019, he facilitated the transition of the business to AMP Capital (now InfraBridge), which acquired the firm as part of their global digital infrastructure portfolio. Today, Expedient is recognized as one of the nation’s top providers of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS).

Before joining Expedient in December of 2003, he spent 6 years as Vice President and COO of Stargate.net, Inc. Shawn helped build Stargate from startup phase to one of the nation’s Top 20 Commercial Internet Service Providers in less than 5 years. Stargate earned dozens of industry accolades, including recognition as the nation’s fastest growing Inner-City Company, by INC Magazine. Prior to entering the Internet industry, Shawn spent 16 years with TeleCommunications Inc. (TCI), which became AT&T Broadband in 1999 and then sold to Comcast Communications in 2002. During his cable industry tenure, Shawn held many positions including General Manager for TCI of Western Pennsylvania, TCI’s largest single operating unit, and at that time, the nation’s largest consolidated cable television system. In 1996, he was honored as “System Operator of the Year,” by the Pennsylvania Cable and Telecommunications Association. Shawn is a 1980 Graduate of Clarion State University with a B.S. in Business Marketing/Management. He also earned an MBA, from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh with an emphasis on Finance.

Shawn has been married to his wife Jeanne for 38 years and they have 2 adult children.

Bryan Smith

Chief Executive Officer

Bryan Smith serves as Chief Executive Officer at Expedient and brings more than 25 years of experience in the Telecommunications and Technology industries to his role. Prior to taking on the role of CEO, Bryan served as SVP and Chief Strategy Officer of Expedient overseeing strategic growth planning, product design, marketing, and business development for Expedient. Bryan was one of the initial employees of Expedient in 2001 and has been instrumental in identifying expansion/acquisition opportunities. He has been involved at every stage of Expedient’s growth from the initial start as a fixed-wireless Internet Service Provider (ISP) to a leading data center and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) provider. In 2013, he was honored as one of the Top 20 People to Know in Technology by Business First. Bryan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Baldwin Wallace College and an Executive MBA from The Ohio State University.

JP Rosato

Operating Partner, DigitalBridge

JP Rosato is an Operating Partner at DigitalBridge, primarily focused on developing opportunities with large enterprise customers across our converged ecosystem of portfolio companies. Mr. Rosato has over 30 years of extensive design, engineering and operations experience within large, complex technology environments. In cooperation with his network of C-level partners, Mr. Rosato has developed and defined a host of innovative services, monetization strategies for technology assets and investments, and groundbreaking partnerships between enterprises and providers.

Prior to joining DigitalBridge, Mr. Rosato was the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CS Technology. Mr. Rosato provided the vision and executive leadership that enabled CST to change the paradigm for technology advisory services delivery that redefined the space and attracted global 2000 customers resulting in the acquisition of CST by Accenture in June 2021.
