Through “Resilient, Together” platform, cloud solutions provider offers support to Feeding America
Pittsburgh, PA – 14 April 2020 – Expedient, a leading enterprise cloud computing, disaster recovery as a service, and data center infrastructure as a service (IaaS) provider, today announced that it has made a $100,000 donation to Feeding America to help provide meals to people facing hunger during the current COVID-19 crisis.
Feeding America is a nationwide network of 200 food banks and 60,000 food pantries and meal programs. Feeding America will direct Expedient’s donation to food banks in the communities in which Expedient has a data center or cloud point of delivery, including the Greater Boston Food Bank; Greater Cleveland Food Bank; Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank; Mid-Ohio Food Bank (Columbus); Gleaner’s Food Bank (Indianapolis, IN); Mid-South Food Bank (Memphis, TN); Maryland Food Bank (Baltimore); and St. Mary’s Food Bank (Arizona).
In addition to its $100,000 corporate donation, Expedient is also collaborating with Feeding America to enable individual contributions from its employees nationwide.
